While Sjögren's syndrome may be complicated by amyloidosis, biopsy using endobronchial ultrasonography with a guide-sheath (EBUS-GS) is rarely performed to obtain a diagnosis. We describe the case of a 58-year-old woman who had been diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome 10 years prior to admission. A chest X-ray revealed an abnormal shadow on the chest and a chest computed tomography (CT) showed a nodule with a diameter of 25 mm on the right lung. Transbronchial biopsy (TBB) using EBUS-GS was performed on the nodule on the right B1aii, and an amyloid deposit was observed in the tissue. Biopsy using EBUS-GS can be a useful tool for diagnosing amyloidosis in conjunction with Sjögren's syndrome.
