We measured the particle size distribution of aerosols and the percentage of aerosolization of the Breztri® Aerosphere,® the Bevespi® Aerosphere,® and the dry-powder inhaler Trelegy® 100-Ellipta®. Although all devices showed a single peak, the mass median aerodynamic diameter of the Breztri® is 2.51 μm at 30 L/min flow rate and 2.53 μm at 60 L/min flow rate, that of the Bevespi® is 2.26 μm and 2.66 μm, and that of the Trelegy® is 3.76 μm and 3.87 μm, respectively. Percentages of aerosolization of the pressurized metered-dose inhalers are about 98% at 28.3 L/min flow rate and about 93% at 60 L/min flow rate. Those of the dry powder inhaler are about 9% and 8%, respectively.
