ABSTRACT

We report the case of a 47-year-old woman with an acute exacerbation of rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD) on maintenance hemodialysis (HD). She did not respond to high-dose glucocorticoids, but her condition improved significantly after the administration of cyclosporine A (CsA) and intravenous cyclophosphamide therapy (IVCY). This study reports the case of a patient with RA-ILD on maintenance HD successfully treated with combination therapy using high-dose glucocorticoids, IVCY, and CsA.
