A 63-year-old man was diagnosed as having idiopathic orbital inflammation from the specimen obtained from a left orbital tumor. After the operation, chest computed tomography scans revealed the presence of ground-glass opacity and consolidation in his left lung. A maxillary tumor was also observed from magnetic resonance imaging scans. His pulmonary lesion was diagnosed as eosinophilic pneumonia based on an increased eosinophil count in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, and eosinophilic inflammation was also observed in the pathological specimen obtained from the maxillary tumor. These lesions were improved by oral corticosteroid treatment. To our knowledge, this is the first report of unilateral eosinophilic pneumonia with orbital and maxillary lesions.
