ABSTRACT

Primary pulmonary lymphoma (PPL) is a relatively rare disease. It represents only 0.3% of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and only 0.5–1% of primary pulmonary malignancies. Lymphoproliferative disorders (LPD), which occur in patients taking immunosuppressive drugs, are known as immunodeficiency-related LPD. Among them, methotrexate (MTX)-related LPD, which occurs in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), is the most representative. Herein we describe a case of PPL, which demonstrated spontaneous regression after discontinuation of the MTX therapy for RA.
