A fatal case of pulmonary/bronchial acinic cell carcinoma is reported. Although acinic cell carcinoma is regarded to be indolent, the clinical course of the present case was only nine months under the best supportive care available. The poorly differentiated histology of the tumor was thought to be intimately related to rapid tumor growth and multiple distant metastases.
